PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Private practice anesthesia, Dallas, TX; December 2010-Present
Professional Duties: Provided comprehensive anesthesia care at Frisco Medical Center Frisco, Centennial Medical Center, Texas Health Presbyterian Plano, and various surgical facilities in DFW. Caseload included bariatric, orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, pediatric, neurosurgery, etc.
Positions:
Served as Lead Anesthesiologist at a private anesthesia group in Frisco July 2012-July 2014: Responsibilities included surgeon recruitment and retention; served as liaison for all surgeons covered by division and liaison for hospital based committees (Forest Park Frisco); created daily schedules and coordinated all aspects of anesthesia care provided by division

Caseload included general surgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, thoracic, vascular, pediatric, gastroenterology, urology, gynecology, ENT, etc.

Hospital Based and/or Departmental Specific Committees
Served on Quality Assurance Committee, a hospital based committee that helped ensure high quality patient care within the department of anesthesia. Responsibilities included at least monthly, confidential review of cases that met certain clinical criteria, departmental educational activities, and development of perioperative protocols designed to improve patient care.
Served on Critical Care Committee, a multidisciplinary group of physicians and nurses whose primary goal was to address issues relevant to the ICU at Virtua-Memorial Hospital. Served as sole representative of the Department of Anesthesia.
Served on Perioperative Cardiac Risk Reduction Committee, a departmental specific committee; helped develop a hospital wide protocol for perioperative beta-blocker use in high-risk patients undergoing noncardiac surgery.
Served on committee to develop web site for Burlington Anesthesia Associates (www.burlingtonanesthesia.com). Developed and helped compile website content, edited all content pieces, and assisted in website design and maintenance.
